Managing products & services

Last updated 3 days ago

Learn how to add products individually, write descriptions with Bloopy AI, set dynamic attributes, and configure inventory settings.

The Products section is where you manage your store's inventory, physical listings, or booking services. Keeping your catalog updated ensures your AI agent has accurate data to resolve customer pricing and product inquiries.

1. Product Onboarding Options

Click '+ Add Product' on the top right to choose how you want to expand your catalog:

  • Add Single Product: Manually build a listing with detailed descriptions, attributes, images, and prices.
  • Upload Bulk Products (Coming soon): Download a template spreadsheet to import dozens of items at once.
  • Connect your Store (Coming soon): Synchronize your catalog automatically from Shopify or WooCommerce.

2. General Settings & AI Description Generator

Provide basic identifier details and use AI to speed up description drafting:

  • General Identifiers: Fill in the Product Name, Category, Subcategory, and Brand.
  • Let Bloopy AI Generate: Click this button inside the description editor. Specify keywords, key features, and choose your preferred tone to view a generated copy preview. You can choose to apply the generated copy directly or regenerate it for variations.

3. Media & Product Types

  • Product Images: Drag and drop or browse to upload high-quality PNG, JPG, or JPEG images. You can upload multiple images to give customers a better view of the product.
  • Product Type: Choose between Single Product (one fixed price regardless of variation) and Variable Product (different prices or SKUs for color/size variations; coming soon).

4. Category-Specific Dynamic Attributes

To help your AI agent answer granular customer questions (e.g., sizing, materials, styling options), you can set attributes. The attributes fields update dynamically based on the chosen Category (for example, choosing 'Clothing' renders inputs for Size, Color, Material, Gender, and Occasion).

5. Pricing & Inventory Controls

Configure transaction values and stock tracking requirements:

  • Sales Settings: Enter your Product Price and current Status (e.g., In Stock).
  • SKU Configuration: Choose between Auto-generated or manual SKU Code types and input your custom SKU Code.
  • Stock Management: Input your Current Inventory level and set a Re-order Point to trigger automatic low-stock notifications.

6. Service-Based Businesses

If you operate a service-based business, you can define Service Categories and Booking Time Slots. The AI agent uses this metadata to schedule appointments and answer price inquiries automatically.
