Creating collections

Organize your products into catalog groups, generate collection details with AI, and manage grouped items.

Collections allow you to group related products (e.g., 'Summer Essentials' or 'New Arrivals'). Grouping products makes it easier for your AI sales agent to cross-sell, recommend matching items, and present structured catalog categories to customers in messaging chats.

1. Collections Directory

The Collections tab shows a list of your existing catalog groups. For each collection, you can see:

  • Collection Information: The primary cover thumbnail image and the custom title.
  • Products Count: The total quantity of items currently linked to this collection.
  • Management Options: Click the vertical three-dot action button on any row to view details, edit details or delete collection.

2. Collection Details & AI Generation

To build a new collection, click '+ Add Collection' on the top right. Configure these details:

  • Collection Title: A clear name for the group (e.g., 'Winter Footwear').
  • Collection Image: Drag and drop or browse to upload a banner or square cover image.
  • Let Bloopy AI Generate: Use the AI generation helper to automatically write descriptions. Add keywords, list key collection features, choose a tone, and review a preview before applying the copy.

3. Selecting & Grouping Products

Link products to your collection using the search and selection tools:

  • Search Bar: Search products by title to add them directly to the list.
  • Product Picker Modal: Click 'Browse all products' to open a full modal checklist. Check the box next to any item to add it (displays thumbnail, stock availability status, and unit price). Click 'Done' to save.
  • Selected Products list: View a list of all selected items at the bottom of the editor. Click the red 'X' button on any row to instantly remove that item from the collection.
