Invite staff members to your dashboard, manage active roles, update permissions, and handle pending invitations.
To collaborate and scale your support operations, you can invite team members to access your Bloopy merchant dashboard. By assigning specific roles, you control who can manage catalogs, handle orders, respond to chats, or access settlement configurations.
1. Inviting a Team Member
Navigate to Settings > Members and click '+ Invite Team Member' on the top right. In the configuration modal, specify the following details:
- First Name: The recipient's first name (e.g., Dauda).
- Last Name: The recipient's last name (e.g., Pona).
- Email: The official email address where the invitation will be sent (e.g., daudapona2@gmail.com).
- Mobile Number: The member's primary contact number.
- Role: Select the user's role from the dropdown (Admin, Manager, Agent, or Viewer).
2. Team Member Role Definitions
Each role provides a different level of access to your dashboard features:
- Admin: Full access to all business settings, integrations, payouts, security, and member administration.
- Manager: Access to manage catalogs, view reports, process orders, and handle conversations, excluding raw billing and member invite controls.
- Agent: Access is limited to the conversation inbox and customer support tickets.
- Viewer: Read-only access to catalogs, orders, and reports without write permissions.
3. The Onboarding Process
Once you send an invitation, the new member goes through the following onboarding flow:
- Email Invitation: The invited team member receives an email containing a secure link to join your organization.
- Password Setup: To gain access to the system, the recipient must click the email link and set up their personal password to register their account.
4. Managing Members & Pending Invites
The Members panel is split into two tabs to track your staff directory:
- Active Members: Lists all team members who have accepted their invitations. Clicking the three-dot action menu next to any active member allows you to: Change role, Disable member (to suspend access), or Enable member (if previously disabled).
- Pending Invites: Lists sent invitations that are awaiting user registration. Clicking the three-dot vertical menu on a pending invite allows you to: Resend invite, Revoke invite, or Cancel invite to invalidate the link.
